Germany and Canada in France

It really is a small world after all.

In 2003, Julia arrived in Squamish as a 17 year old international student from Germany. She spent one semester of Grade 11 at Howe Sound Secondary School. It was there she met my daughter Molly. The girls soon became fast friends. They were such good friends that Molly spent the following summer in Germany with Julia and her family.

Julia then came to visit us for the summer of 2005. We took her down to Southern California. My sister Chrissy and her family joined us for a week of fun in the sun at Disneyland.

Who knew then, that six years later the same group would be spending time together in France?

As you know, my sister and brother-in-law are here with us now. Julia and her boyfriend arrived last night to spend a few days with us in Martignac.

Like I said. It really is a small world.
