I Heart Paris #5

Boulangerie Poilane on Rue du Cherche-Midi is one of the most famous Parisian bakeries.

More reasons to love Paris....
  • Boulangeries that sell their big, heavy, rustic loaves of bread by the kilogram.

  1. so does that make them less expensive?
I love the window dressing in the shops that you feature. They are all so pretty in design as is the writing on the windows!

  2. No, it doesn't make the bread less expensive Jo. (Ain't nuthin' in this town that's not expensive.)

For example: When you ask for 500 grams of bread, the baker cuts you off a hunk from the large loaf. Just a different way of getting your bread.
