Barcelona Is Beautiful

The view out of our apartment window in Barcelona.

We have arrived in Barcelona safe and sound. Our flight was non-eventful, Joe and I slept almost the entire time, and we arrived an hour earlier than expected. Our host, Artur, picked us up from the airport and delivered us to our apartment which is called 'Gaudi's Nest'.

As you can see from the photo, our apartment faces Gaudi's 'Sagrada Familia'. It is an unbelievable view!

We are just heading out for dinner. I hope we're not too early! It is only 9:00pm. After all, this is Spain and no one eats until at least 10 o'clock.

  2. how fantastic that you are able to post something for us to enjoy. What an amazing view. Hopefully you enjoyed fabulous Spanish tapas and it is warm and sunny. It is a whopping 16 degrees here, I had to have the gas fireplace on to watch the tour de france.
This may come up as being from Dan as he is the default google user for some reason.

  4. Looks good Nancy! My boys were so little when we last saw the Sagrada Familia? It was so hot and we were exhausted but amazed by the spectacle of it. What a great place to have an apartment!
