Wedding Breakfast

The cake topper that Molly's friends made for the wedding cake.

The day after Molly and Jordan's wedding reception, we invited everyone back here for breakfast.  Forty-five people gathered in our garden on Sunday morning.  We wanted to extend the beautiful weekend so that the fun wouldn't end too soon.

Joe hit another meal out of the park.  After going to bed at 2:00am, he was up at 5:00am to put a ham in the oven and to bake 3 huge quiches.  Honestly, if it had been up to me I would have served each guest a bowl of Rice Krispies and called it a day.  Not Joe.  He does it up right.

A proud Papa.

Fruit galore.

Xoco desserts.

Quiche Lorraine.

An appreciative crowd.

Good food.  Good people.

Breakfast of champions.

Breakfast under the trees.

Things were a little quieter than the night before.

Our songbird Julia.

Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed campers.

Good morning!

Reviewing the previous night's shenanigans.

Two beautiful roses.

Wedding bouquet toss.

It was a tight race, but Julia was the clear winner.

The victor.

Bumps in black.

"So long, everyone!"

After breakfast and good-byes, an intrepid group of sixteen hikers went up the Sea-To-Sky Gondola.

 The Akselrad family.

Kathleen and her mom Yvonne on the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge.

The Summit Lodge in the clouds.

 Sweet Maytal.

A hike on the Spirit Trail.

Enjoying the view from the Lookback Trail.

Later that evening, the Sotham and Akselrad families reconvened at our place to watch Molly and Jordan open their gifts and to enjoy one last meal together.

 An exquisite handcrafted wooden tray.

Thanks, Dan!

Our final night together.  Thanks for the photo, Paige!

Our fabulous wedding weekend is now over.  We have many happy memories to keep us going for months.

Again, thank you to everyone who shared MoJo's happy day with us.  It was a very joyful time for our family and your presence made it even more special.

Our love to you all.

MoJo's Wedding Bash

We celebrated Molly and Jordan's springtime nuptials in our backyard last Saturday.  It was a day full of joy, a day full of love, a day full of happiness.  It was the best party Joe and I have ever thrown.

I will let the photos speak for themselves.

Enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on this very special day.  Our hearts are full.  Molly and Jordan, may your life together be blessed with many years of health and happiness.  We love you.
